Celebrating the Opening of Michelle Hegyi's Show

Michelle Hegyi's exhibit at WSG Gallery was celebrated Friday, August 6 on a lovely evening in Ann Arbor. Her show is up through Labor Day weekend. "Do You Remember the Shape of the Trees..." is a show of her new body of work. Gorgeous blues, greens, yellows capture elements of nature - trees, rain, sky, leaves - and are presented to the viewer in Michelle's continuously evolving innovative methods and materials.

WSG artist teaches at Traverse City this week

If you happen to be out in the Leelenau Peninsula area or somewhere around Traverse City and the bay area of Traverse this week, you may see some enthusiastic landscape painters led by our own talented landscape painter Nora Venturelli. She teaches an intensive landscape painting class for Eastern Michigan University each summer Up North. Look for some of her gorgeous northern Michigan work at the gallery when she returns!
